AI that writes like you, because it's measured from you.

Send me your real writing. I measure how you actually write: sentence rhythm, punctuation habits, the words you reach for. That becomes a voice profile you can drop into ChatGPT or Claude, and it ships only after generated text matches your numbers. Want your own ear on it too? Validated adds blind grading rounds until it lands. Either way, the file is yours for good.

How it works

1

You send writing

10+ real samples: sent emails, posts, reports. I send exact instructions for exporting your own data, which takes about 15 minutes. Short on casual writing? I send structured prompts that pull it out of you.

2

I measure it

The numbers come out first: average sentence length and its spread, commas per 1,000 words, how you open, how you sign off, your actual vocabulary. Names and private details are part of the raw material I work from, and none of them make it into the profile.

3

I build your profile

A written voice guide: your baseline stats, your registers (formal and casual), a list of things you'd never say, and real before and after examples. Nothing ships until text generated from it matches your measured numbers. It works with any AI you already use.

4

You grade it blind validated tier

On Validated, I generate test pieces from the profile alone, never from your raw samples, and you tell me every line you'd never say. I revise until you rate it 8 out of 10 or better. Two or three rounds over a few days.

5

You get the file, I delete your data

You get the voice profile and usage instructions. Your raw writing is deleted within 7 days of delivery, and I confirm when it's done.

The difference, marked up

The same request, an email to the landlord about a broken heater, before and after a voice profile:

Generic AI "I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the heating system in my unit. It has not been functioning properly, and I would greatly appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter."
nobody writes to their landlord like this
With a voice profile "I wanted to let you know the heater in my unit stopped working sometime Tuesday. I tried the reset button on the side but that didn't do anything. It's getting pretty cold at night so I'd appreciate someone taking a look this week. What should I do in the meantime?"

Start with Validated

Everyone starts at $20. You can upgrade to Validated at any time by emailing me the $75 difference; the address comes in your confirmation email.

Refunds. The $20 is not refundable. You get to try your profile in the console before the file is yours, so you can see exactly what you're getting. On the $75 upgrade, if it never sounds like you, I send back 80% of that $75. The other 20% covers the tokens your eval burned.

Who this is not for.

writeslikeme is for professionals writing their own emails, posts, and documents. I don't take on current students, and I don't build profiles whose purpose is passing AI-generated schoolwork through integrity checks. If that's the ask, I'll decline and refund. No exceptions.

Your data, handled straight

  • Never used to train anything. Your writing is processed by me and by the licensed analysis services I run it through, under terms that bar them from training on it or keeping it. I never use it for anyone else's profile.
  • Not anonymized first, and I won't pretend it is. A sent-mail export runs to thousands of messages with real names in them. Stripping all that beforehand isn't realistic, and the measurements need real text to be accurate. I don't catalogue or look up anything in it.
  • Nothing identifying reaches your profile. What you receive is measurements and patterns. No emails, no contacts, no names, no private content.
  • The console sends the profile, not your writing. When you try it out, your measured style patterns go to the model you pick. None of your samples go with them.
  • Deleted after. Raw samples are erased within 7 days of delivery. You get written confirmation.

Questions you're probably asking

Why not just tell ChatGPT "write casually"?

Because "casual" isn't a measurement. Your writing has a specific fingerprint. Maybe your sentences average 29 words in rants but 18 in emails, maybe you almost never use commas, maybe you always close requests with a direct question. Generic instructions can't reproduce what was never measured.

What do I actually receive?

A document (yours to keep) containing your measured baseline, your register modes, your vocabulary, a "never say this" list built from your writing, and paste-in instructions for whatever AI you use. If you use Claude, you also get it packaged as ready-to-use commands.

What's the difference between the two tiers?

Standard ($20) is the measured profile: your writing parsed, baselines taken per register, and the file delivered once text generated from it passes a numeric check against your own numbers. Validated ($75) adds the blind grading loop: you read test pieces written from the profile alone and grade them against your ear, and I revise until you rate it 8 out of 10 or better. Two or three rounds over a few days, because it needs your time.

How much writing do I need?

Ten or more real pieces is the floor, a few thousand words in total. Sent emails are the best source there is. If you're short, the structured prompts I send can generate usable samples in about 30 minutes of your time.

Is my writing safe with you?

Your writing is processed by me and by the licensed analysis services I run it through, under terms that bar them from training on it or keeping it. It isn't anonymized first, because a sent-mail export can't meaningfully be and the measurements need the real text. What I deliver is style patterns, not your private content, and your raw samples are deleted within 7 days with written confirmation. Every provider involved is named in the privacy policy.

Why does Validated have a grading step?

Because "sounds like you" is only fully proven when you say so. On Validated, the test pieces are generated blind, from the profile alone, so when they read like you wrote them, that's proof the profile stands on its own without leaning on your originals. The $20 tier still gets the numeric check against your baselines; Validated adds your ear on top.
