Summary. This summary is provided for convenience and does not replace the
sections below. Material you submit is processed for the sole purpose of producing the profile
you ordered. Processing is carried out by me and by a limited number of contracted service
providers, identified in full further down, under commercial terms that exclude submitted
material from being used to train or improve their systems. Material is processed in the form
you supply it, since the measurements depend on the original text. No personal detail contained
in submitted material is reproduced in the profile delivered to you. Submitted material is
erased 7 days after delivery.
What I collect
- Your email address. Used to sign you in and to reach you about your order. Nothing else.
- Your intake answers. What you write, who reads it, which tier you picked, and what you want this for.
- The writing you send me. Pasted samples, uploaded files, exports. This is the actual material.
- Your crypto transaction ID. To confirm payment. It is already public on the blockchain.
- Eval console prompts and what came back. So I can see how your profile is performing.
I do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. There is no account password,
because sign-in is a one-time emailed link.
How submitted material is processed
Producing a profile requires the source text to be read and measured, both directly by me and
through automated language-analysis services operated by the providers listed below.
- Processing is not performed solely on local hardware. Part of the analysis is
carried out through the paid programmatic interfaces of those providers, which means submitted
material is transmitted to them for the duration of the work and is not retained by them after
it.
- Submitted material is not used for model training. The commercial terms under
which those accounts are held exclude material sent through them from being used to train or
improve the providers' systems. Material submitted by one client is never used in the production
of another client's profile.
- Material is processed in the form you supply it. Removal of personal detail
prior to analysis is not carried out. A mailbox export runs to many thousands of messages, and the
measurements that produce your profile depend on the original wording, punctuation, and structure.
Names and other details present in your files are not indexed, catalogued, or looked up, and are
not retained beyond the retention period set out below.
- Some of it is read directly. Building a voice profile is manual work and
involves my reading portions of what you send.
What ends up in your profile
The file you receive contains measurements and patterns: sentence lengths, punctuation rates,
vocabulary, register habits, things you would never say. It does not contain your emails, your
contacts, your private content, or anyone's name. Test pieces are written from the profile, not
copied from your originals.
The eval console
When you try your profile in the console, the profile is sent to whichever model you pick,
through OpenRouter. That is your measured style patterns only. None of your uploaded writing goes
with it. Your prompt and the generated text are stored with your record so I can see what happened.
How long I keep things
- Your raw writing: deleted 7 days after delivery. You get written confirmation.
- Your finished profile: kept so I can send it again if you lose it. Ask me and I delete it.
- Your account, email, and intake answers: kept until you ask me to remove them.
- Eval console logs: kept with your record, removed when you ask.
Service providers and other recipients
Operating the service involves a number of third parties. The complete list, and what each one
receives, is set out here.
- Language-analysis providers. Submitted material, for the period during which
your profile is being produced.
- OpenRouter and the model you choose. Your finished profile and your console prompts.
- Supabase. Your account, your intake answers, your uploaded files, your profile.
- Netlify. Hosts the site and runs the server-side functions. Sees normal web request data.
- Microsoft Outlook. Sends and receives my email, so it sees our correspondence.
- Public blockchain explorers and CoinGecko. Used to confirm your payment. They see the
transaction ID, which is public already, not your identity.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Serve the fonts and one script this site uses. Like any
third-party asset, they can see the IP address of visitors.
What I never do
- Ask for your password, your two-factor codes, or access to your accounts. If anyone claiming to
be me asks for those, it is not me.
- Take card or bank details. Payment is crypto only, so I never hold them.
- Sell, share, or publish your writing.
- Use a quote from you anywhere without asking you first.
Your choices
Email me and I will do any of these: tell you exactly what I hold about you, send you a copy,
correct it, or delete all of it. No form, no process, no fee. Deleting everything means I can no
longer resend your profile, so I will say so before I do it.
Payment
Crypto only, one time. I never see a card number or a bank account. Blockchain transactions are
public and permanent by design, which is a property of the network and not something I control.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes. If it changes in a way that affects writing you
already sent me, I will email you rather than quietly edit the page.
